LIAN LI PC-O11 Dynamic Razer Edition Black Tempered glass ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case - PC-O11D Razer

I got this "compact" ATX case and these guys make seriously high quality stuff with an eye for detail. The case is about 1.5x the width of your standard ATX case, making it closer to a large box than a typical tower.The extra width facilitates a machined aluminum mobo partition with PSU bracket on the backside to hide it and any 3.5" HDDs as well as any cables you don't want showing. The only thing I'm iffy on is the bottom mounted SSD 2.5" drive mounts, but even with those in use* you can install a vertical GPU riser if you want. It can hold two 360mm (three fan) radiators with room to spare. You can of course use any size radiator + fan combo in any of the three mount positions, but it appears max capacity is two 360mm rads and another 240mm radiator up top (three radiators total)**. Oh and it can house your RGB and/or fan controllers in a special mount slot, with lots of covert places to do custom mounting with velcro if necessary.This beautiful case is also meant to mount small to large water tanks/reservoirs in several places, even next to the vertical GPU on the base panel (or so it looks). I always thought a pair of small but strong magnets on the bottom of the tank and on the outside bottom of the case would work in any mid-large ATX case and not effect any components or magnetic disc drives so long as they are a reasonable distance away like they would be here, but that would be dangerous and only attempted if you are a pro and know the risks of magnets and PCs.Last but not least, the case RGB works with Razer Chroma software so no need for any third-party utilities from Lian Li. If you use MSI/Mystic Light compatible boards, the latest version of that now works with Chroma Studio. Of course you can use any mainboard and/or third-party software and tools you want, but since you use Chroma, may as well run it all through one app. All my fans, RGB, peripherals, controllers, everything, all controlled with Chroma and one software interface. Can't overstate how nice it is to not have to screw with several control interfaces or BIOS tools or remotes.This case is built incredibly well, uses real tempered glass, and has sturdy metal and aluminum components. It has a very aethetically pleasing exterior with a clean, custom look and feel and is purpose made to show off a liquid cooling setup or other internal modding. I'll try to post pics of my Troll Green build once I decide on hard or soft tubing. This case will live through many hardware upgrade and is a modder's dream to build in.*it looks like you may lose one SSD mount slot if your vert-GPU bracket is very large or has odd dimensions.**the manual lists three rads as possible, but I'm using just one 240mm and one 360mm with fans in the remaining slots to move air up and down the case.

This is my second build using the Lian Li PC 011 Dynamic. The first was the non Razer edition which is $30 less. This case is an excellent case BUT it's not for everyone. First of all, this case is designed to show off a PC builder's masterpiece. Therefore if you're just assembling for the heck of it, then go with something with less glass panels. Your cable management skills and techniques will have to be ON POINT!! This case is unforgiving for builders with mediocre cable skill set. Every nook and cranny will be exposed and therefore careful planning and routing will have to be considered down to the last inch. Secondly, if you're not watercooling, pls don't spend the extra money on this thing and get a smaller Phanteks P400S or a Corsair case instead. The 011 Dynamic is optimized for two 360 radiators in both the upper and side portions of the enclosure. Unless you have a micro ATX mobo, the bottom intake is not ideal for a radiator. The bottom intakes are however excellent for fresh air intake. Take note: The side radiator mounting only has enough clearance for a radiator thickness of up to 45mm. (50mm total space). Anything thicker than 45mm will have fitment issues. For the top, you can safely install up to 60mm thick rads, provided you're still able to route your 8pin EPS top mobo cable. Furthermore, the building experience is very pleasant since the top, sides and front panels of the case can be removed and leave the you with an open space for assembly. You have tons of room to move around. Surprisingly though, PSU and fan cable management at the back of the case is quite challenging. I recommend stripping the hard drive cage empty and use it as a parking lot to jam in all your excess cables. My only gripe with this case is it's weight and mobility. Once assembled, its very challenging to carry this coz you'll end up anchoring both your hands at the bottom of the case to support it. Carrying this thing around fully loaded should be a two man job to avoid back injury. It's that heavy! In conclusion... This is an excellent, quality case from Lian Li. Very well engineered inside out. Best case out there today to display your gear and your building skills. As a PC enthusiast with lots of experiences in PC hardware, the Lian Li PC 011 Dynamic Razer edition is by far the best and most satisfying enclosure I've put my money in. Definitely worth it!

The facts:The air flow is superb especially if you're experienced with planning a proper cooling set up, however this case will collect a lot of dust and will require regular cleaning to keep this case looking and preforming well.Installing parts in this case is very easy, however cable management skills are definitely important to making this case look professional. As easy as it is to build, its very easy to make the overall build look like s***. Yes there is room behind the MoBo for plenty of cable stuffing but if you cant keep fan cables and all the other motherboard hook ups then don't bother with a case like this.Build quality is definitely on par with the price (normal retail is below $160, keep that in mind)for the price, and especially the price with the current state of the computer parts market being heavily inflated with low supply there much cheaper ways to build a performance computer. That being said I'm sure any consumer considering this is well aware.My Opinion:This case is total over kill and definitely serves form over function, which is exactly why it exists. The O11D is a beautiful way to showcase really nice hardware and has a lot of room to get creative on how you show it off. That being said I wouldn't recommend this case unless you are putting high level hardware inside, yes all computers are cool to look at but I would definitely find a more appropriate case for a budget build. There are still plenty of good looking cases with clear side panels under $90. It was a joy to build and its more an art piece than a computer if its built properly. In photos the case looks great, in person with it built and glowing away its honestly a sexy machine.
