Perfection
The best matcha you will ever consume. I've tried hundreds. The flavor is on point. They also test their matcha for contaminants and other impurities which is very important in quality control and that means alot to me. Try this and you will be hooked!!!

Love Matcha Tea
Matcha tea is delicious to me. It has a gentle caffeine lift, is loaded with antioxidants and good for you. I bought a canister with a screen that acts like a sifter so the tea mixes with hot water. I put a little of the powder in a small tea bowl and blend with a traditional handmade bamboo “swisher.” Better than coffee!

A Matcha With Character!!!
For serious matcha lovers, trying different matchas is kind of like wine tasting. We are always trying to find the "good ones". We aren't making spritzers or lattes, we make usucha, whisk and bowl. Every matcha I try it's the same, 2 grams matcha, 2 ounces water at 168-170F. The low priced ones I tried for the heck of it, were only fit to be buried in sugar, milk, ice and fruit syrups. Matchas in the mid-price range I find are mostly playing it safe, kind of one note wonders, without complexity. For the western market, at this point they are almost all organic, "ceremonial grade" which is marketing BS, first harvest, shade grown, stone ground, hand picked, antioxidants, healthy, blah, blah, etc. just as this matcha is. And they are not very interesting. Nice, soft, smooth, safe but boring. This matcha is DIFFERENT. I was very, very pleasantly surprised. It's a beautiful green, with no yellow or muddy tones. Mixes easily and creates a beautiful smooth foam. Smells clean and vegetal, with a lovely silky smooth texture as you drink it. It has a strong matcha taste, umami, sweetness, a touch of fleeting bitterness and a sweet lingering aftertaste...it's COMPLEX! Wait, it has CHARACTER?!? And YES.... It is a much better tasting matcha than many of the more expensive ones I have tried. Very, very few matchas have made me want a second "'cup" right after finishing the first, I can count them on one hand. This is one of them. At $14.26 per ounce, (currently $49.90 for a 3.5oz resealable bag vs most matcha's 20-30g tins), for "ceremonial grade", this matcha is bizarrely inexpensive, a great value for the money. I am always looking for a sleeper, and this is it. I was tempted to NOT write a review but this company deserves the applause, they make a delicious matcha that made me glad I bought it. How often can you say that about anything? And not that it makes a darn bit of difference in the quality of the matcha, but this is the ONLY company that has included a handwritten THANK YOU note (and a little origami crane) with my matcha order, and that attention to detail shows in their product. I will be buying more.

my favorite
I have been drinking this brand of matcha since 2015 after having tried others. Too me it has the best flavor. It is good to keep in mind that this is powdered tea and does not dissolve. It is helpful to use a whisk when mixing. Also, if you use boiling water it will be bitter. Finally, more is not always better. A half teaspoon makes a satisfying cup of tea.

Excellent! I have tried many. Been using iMaccha for years
I rarely write reviews. I drink two cups of this a day. Pretty much without fail. I love both the organic and ceremonial grade. I’ve tried many other brands and keep coming back to this one. It blends easily. I use a mini electric hand frother- I got a USB chargeable one with three speeds and the tea blends perfectly with no little balls/pills. Every now and then it’s not available on Amazon and I try another brand. It’s subtle but I always come back to this one. The price for the quality is unbeatable.

High quality matcha
High quality ceremonial grade matcha. A little pricy, but worth every penny. Tastes just like the good stuff from Kyoto.
