I bought this for my daughter. She loved it. The beginning was a bit confusing but once she got the idea it went smoothly and she very much enjoyed it.

This was a fun little model to assemble. I only wish a bit more planning was put into it. Having the two keys just float around is a missed opportunity. The cavity on the lid should have been a place to store the keys- making the puzzle box of a bit more puzzling. Followed directions on setting the 3-digit code, and it works as expected.

This is a gift, so I was glad that this item arrived well before the time I needed it and in great shape.

Loved this model. The directions were clear and the construction was fairly easy. Patience is needed at times but not excessively so. Test often and you will be successful. I'm so pleased with the way it turned out and my friends were duly impressed! Young people may need some adult help.

I never write product reviews, but this one earned it. This was a gift to me. I was a bit skeptical about it working like it is advertised because of how many moving parts are involved. I was very impressed with how well the parts fit together and with how intricate they all are. It was very fun putting it together, and the final product is a very cool desk ornament. Definitely worth the money. Great care should be taken in assembling it as many of the parts are very fragile.One thing to mention, there is a list of number combinations that are "unconfigurable passwords." I selected one that was not on that list and found that my password would still not work. After spending quite a bit of time checking and rechecking what I was doing, I realized that my combination just won't work. I changed one of the numbers and it all worked perfectly. Just be aware of that if you get into that situation. All in all, I think this is an excellent product.

Kept my daughter very busy for a couple days! She was very excited to complete the puzzle. When She reached a point and wasn’t able to get it to work correctly, I tried to help her, not luck. The wood pieces are loose and don’t allow the mechanism to work correctly. Very sad. It’s now in a bag she’s given up on it. Seems like a waste of money and time.

The media could not be loaded. We absolutely loved putting this together with my grandson. It was quite a hit and my grandson loved it. It took 2 whole days to put together only because we were stumped about the assembly of the combination lock. The directions start out with assembling the code tool and it's supposed to help you set the lock. I had a hard time deciphering the directions. I finally read them out loud and that helped me but when I set the lock it wasn't the code that I thought I set. Luckily you can feel the number lock into place when you turn the dial so even if you can't set the code you want you can still feel and hear it lock into place. This was one of the funnest things I have done with my grand kids and I highly recommend these puzzles. It will be something to show off when completed and something to be proud o
