Q: I am new to model rail roads. Is this power cab system all I need to buy to run my train or are there other things that I must buy ?

It is a complete system to run a DCC equiped engine. The only thing you would need to add is a power booster to run more locos than the system is designed to handle.

Q: I live in Australia and i was wondering does the nce power cab come with an australian power pack if not would it damage the unit if i use an adapter?

The NCE Power Cab power supply will operate on 220vAC current but you would have to purchase a receptacle adapter, to match your power outlet configuration, locally.

Q: Do i still need a bus and feeder wires to use this kit?

At least one feeder wire per insulated section is needed, however for better reliability I would recommend using more then that. My home layout has one feeder for every 30 cm (about 1 foot) of track. Do not rely on the rail joiners to power the whole layout except if the layout is very small (a oval from a trainset or such).

Q: What would be an example of a bigger power supply you can add to this? Can you supply a link with your answer too please?
