Zilla Pet Reptile Terrarium Shale Rock Den Décor, Basking Rock and Hide for Bearded Dragons and Other Reptiles, Medium

I purchased this for my 55 gallon tank that I've just set up recently and I think it looks great. It's very thick and sturdy and I think it was a great price for what you get. I included pictures with measuring tape so you can see about how big it is, for me it was a perfect size. There are 2 holes on the bottom, probably from the molding it came out of. If you get this for a fish tank, make sure to turn it over and let it fill with water so it doesn't float. It does come with a slight chemical smell, but if you just take a soft bristle toothbrush and some light antibacterial (preferably unscented) soap and give it a good scrub in every crevice and rinse thoroughly, it goes away. All in all a great purchase for reptiles or fish.

Simple little rock hide, my reptiles love it! I personally use these types as "hallways" and i completely bury this under the dirt, so the can climb over it, and through it with it being completely immersed. They love hiding and chilling in this. its extremely sturdy, and it came with no sharp edges, which suck when using for reptiles.

I purchased this thinking the photos reflect the actual look of the hide/den as I wanted natural looking stone and rock that wasn't desert themed. It looks nothing like the photos. There's green tinges to it here and there. A few jagged parts inside due to the mold. I will say that it's still better looking for the environment I'm trying to mimic. It works great tucked in the corner surrounded by hanging plants for my juvenile ball python. It for sure will not work for an adult. However I'm planning on buying a Mexican Black Kingsnake soon and this will be perfect for it as well. It's versatile depending on placement. Pretty heavy and easy to clean. I will say that I think it's a bit overpriced considering it's not true to the photos. All in all, with that being said, It's worked well thus far in my terrarium.

I was most pleased when I took this out of the box. The size is perfect, it has a good weight to it so I don't have to worry about it not sitting right on the bottom of the tank. I love the appearance and it will give my turtle some privacy when he/she wants it.

I wanted this for my fairy garden and its perfect. Made well, large enough and sturdy. If you are using it for a fish aquarium, it would be great too.

This is a nice bit of decor but is smaller than I thought it would be. My ball python still fits through it just fine though. It has 2 fairly large holes in the bottom that collect water when you clean it, so I let it dry out and filled the holes with my hot glue gun. It's much easier to clean and I don't have to worry about bacteria ridden water collecting inside it. If you have an adult ball python I'd recommend a size larger.

Seems good for a smaller bearded dragon or younger, but is definitely smaller than I thought it would be. I should have measured it out to make sure the hide was the right size.

I initially bought this for a fish tank, that was a mistake. I should have read the description and other reviews more closely. It is not meant to be underwater and could potentially harm your fish if residue or chemicals are coming off of it. When I stuck it in the water I noticed this quickly and removed it. However, if this is being used for it's intended purpose of reptiles I think it is great! Ended up giving it to a friend for her little turtle and he loves it! It's sturdy and the perfect edition to his space. Also easy to clean. Just keep in mind the size if you have a larger reptile this small be a bit small.
