The remote controls the Blu-Ray Disc Player/AV Home Theater that I use daily for sound while watching my LG 55in flat screen tv. The remote performs great, as did the original remote I lost during my move to the city. It also controls viewing of DVDs and Blu-Ray Discs. Color me happy.
