Q: How do you fit the bottle inside when full? Mine would not.

I put the empty bottle in the pocket and then fill it.

Q: Will this fit in a flip belt?

I have them in a ultra trial backpack. In the two front pockets. But also purchased the two long extension to each water bottle. So I don’t have to take them out. Making it easier to drink when running, but turning my head and sipping from the long head extension of the water bottle.

Q: Is the tea bag to be left in?

The tea bag left in the soft flask is for absorbing the odor, which is clean. You could throw it before using the soft flask.
