We think our puppy has an allergy to poultry so we moved him to this. He loves it! He devours every meal!

I have been using the Salmon and Sweet Potato flavor for my dog for 3 years now, and the last two times I have ordered from Amazon, the food is totally different! Larger pieces, light color (salmon flavor pieces are smaller and dark brown), and these kibble are crumbly! Doesn't even smell like the salmon and sweet potato! What gives???? Did someone hit a wrong button in the factory, or is this just what to expect now from Merrick?? Disappointed!

I alway had been getting this product w/ Salmon Flavor since my dog has an allergy w/ chicken. To my surprise, I received the chicken one. I'm returning this product.

My dog loves this food. He started having an allergic hot spot reaction to a previous, high quality, food I was feeding him and vet placed him on hydrolyzed food, which was extremely expensive! My dog was never full from his food and realistically, it is not a long term solution. Tried this one and so far, he is doing great on it and loves the taste! It leaves him full until his next meal. Great food option for low tolerance dogs!

Our Havanese had dry, flaky skin with red bumps and patches. Groomer suspected a chicken allergy and recommended this food and salmon oil. We cut out all products with chicken in them and switched to the Merrick food. We also started adding salmon oil. That was 4 years ago. His skin cleared up within about 6 months. Even the vet remarked on how healthy his skin has become. Highly recommend!
