Q: Is this gold or platinum rated for insurance purposes?

From my experience with this lock -I would not trust leaving my bike locked with it- that’s my opinion and I hope it helps you decide- regardless of getting insurance - mine was breakable almost entirely by hand - says it all really—- be careful

Not theft proof at all. Just been looking at reviews and pictures. Not worth the money in my opinion
