I've used these flashcards over the past four years to help my child learn to read. My son loves to see how many cards he's gotten right compared to the ones he's still working on, and often requests to do more. The cards are sturdy, laminated and held up to the test of time, allowing us the ability to go over some of the older cards to ensure mastery.If you're looking for tips on how to get your child to actually WANT to do flashcards, I can offer my experience - we have a 10-20 minute storytime right before bedtime, and if he reads a little bit of a book or does several flashcards, he gets another 5-10 minutes of storytime. He doesn't have to get them all right, just try his best - sometimes the struggle is part of the learning process. This has become a nice ritual in our household that we always look forward to.

I ordered these for my 2 1/2 yr old girl. She has totally mastered her alphabet cards and she knows her shapes, colors, etc... and I am hoping she will take to these flash cards with the same ease. She loves for me to read books to her and I figured this was the next step for her. Each pack of these flash cards have words printed on the front and back (50 cards, 100 words per box). I really love that these cards are packaged by grade level. I have a nephew that just started the 1st grade and this makes it easy to choose the appropriate level of words to help him with his schooling as well. I am also really glad these are offered in the large set, I did not check for duplicate words but I imagine that if I tried to mix and match brands of flash cards in order to get this large of variety of words, there would be a lot of duplicates. I'm very pleased with these flash cards.

My 6 year old son and I love these sight words flash cards. He is only required to learn 40 words for his grade level at school, so these cards have him way ahead of the game with the PreK and K packs. After he masters the first 200 words, we will move on to the 1st grade words for another head start. The cards are a great size, great quality, catchy and colorful. They also come with fun word games to play to assist your kids with learning the words easier and faster. For $20, this is a GREAT investment to carry all the way to 3rd grade and beyond ! Best purchase ever and so fun to use and learn!

Great for my 5 year old pre-k grand daughter. Learning the site words fast. She gets the cards and asks to do them. I wish they were not printed outlets sided

Love that these are lightly coated, sticky fingerprints wipe right off! Both of my grandsons have been playing with them. Each card has a word on each side and there is also a master list of all the sight words included. We keep them at the table and use them during quiet time as well as snack time. At 4 and 2 attention span isn't very long! I started by pulling out a few words and then as the 4 year old learns I add one new one at a time. Not sure how much the 2 year old is retaining but he wants to do whatever his brother does, lol. Love that he can play too and I don't have to worry about him tearing the cards.

The cards are great. We have been using them daily and my son's reading skills have definitely improved. Not sure that it's directly related, but it seems like a great tool. We are in the kindergarten level. We went through pre-school and it was fine, but we noticed that the word "red" isn't in our pack and the word "number" shows up twice. It's not a huge deal, but it might be a problem with future packs as well. It's a good product, but I wonder if this problem was just in my pack or in everyone's.

These are great little cards with words on both sides and in a larger font so they are easy to read. I have only opened the Pre-K pack so far. It had 4 cards in it about little games and ways to help the child with words and letter recognition. Some of the words seemed a little large for Pre-K, but I am not expert on what should be learned when (ha). I have a niece who is approaching first grade and having some difficulties with words so I am working with her over the summer. I can already see where she needs help and we are going to begin with the words she knows and add a few each couple of days. I would purchase again.

These sight cards are wonderful!!I teach Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten, and the “Game” suggestions are a great help!I am currently using one of the games, and embellishing upon the recommended suggestion. My students are enjoying it, and they are all retaining the words, pronunciations, and spelling. My student parents are all thrilled as they are noticing their children are randomly pointing out words they’ve learned in my class.I highly recommend this product, and use your creative flare to embellish upon their game suggestions to make a more suitable fit for your students and/or child.Great product!!
