I recently purchased these amazing SUNGUY Reversible Angle Micro USB Cables (1.5FT, 2 Pack) to use with my 70Mai dashcam, and they have been a game-changer.I want to ask the industry, why weren’t reversible Micro USB cables the standard? 3/15/21 - SUNGUY Reversible USB Micro to USB A Cable with Right Angle Micro Connector, 6ft/2m [2 Pack]I had my doubts, but it's true! This Micro Connector really is REVERSIBLE!!!I have a Samsung Galaxy S7, the last Galaxy S phone with a Micro socket. I was concerned that this reversible design would, in some way, distort the phone's connector when inserted. So, the 1st time I plugged in this cable, I was very gentle. It snapped in like it was made for my phone (just like my OEM cable used to. I had to replace it many years ago due to bending fatigue.) It has a firm snap and a firm hold. The connector will not accidentally wiggle out of the socket if you use your phone while charging. Most amazing, though, the connector has no wrong way to insert the micro end. One of the big selling points of the USB C connector is it's reversibility. The pins in micro connectors are so thin, I always try to look at the plug and socket to be sure they are properly aligned. With this cable/connector, you have the same universal fit of a USB C connector. No more spot-checking to be sure the plug and socket are aligned--they're always aligned.To top it off, the micro Connector has a 90 degree angle. No more bending fatigue and no more little zaps from worn areas where the wires are just starting to peek through.If there was an award for Innovative hardware, SUNGUY should get it. If this connector was available 15-20 years ago, it would have eliminated the "Micro Fumble."5/10/21 - I've purchased more to replace my other micro cables, like that for my older Fire DX Tablets. These are very unique and very smart. Why weren't micro connectors designed this way in the first place?

Initially I had connectivity issues to start with but after a while of playing with it and contacting the seller several times it started to work properly. you have to really push it in hard and hear a click or pop.now it works great.initially it would only charge and the stop and data connection would fail. it seems like an unstable connection, loose as it goes side to side. BUT it is a reversible plug. you can have it angle off to left OR right.since it is not fitted exactly to the normal micro shaped port it appears a bit loose. it is rounded on both sides.BUT you have to really push it in hard until it clicks or pops.in my case I may have had some lint in there or something and I had issues initially with it not keeping a connection electrically.but now after about 10 tries it works great!in fact I can not make it fail. both are good.they work in the car with android auto and are secure and charge and pass data for streaming music.great product. just PUSH IT IN HARD FOR CLICK IF YOU HAVE A CONNECTION ISSUE.I was ready to return it and then it started working great after one last attempt. really wierd as I thought I had it all pushed in as it felt right when I pushed it in. like other cables that work but I think it needed more of a push. then it worked great.first time using reversible connectors on mico usb cables.also, the seller is very quick to reply to emails. usually within the hour or less.I may order some even shorter cables now.UPDATE:I ordered more cables....this time time 6 foot ones for beside the bed. and earlier some 3 footers for next to my living room chair. I also have some 1 foot for Android Auto in the car!They all work great! No failers yet.

Worked well for my surveillance cameras

I got these right-angle USB to micro USB cables to trickle-charge a Li-ion jumpstart battery. The original charging cable worked fine, but it had to be bent slightly to fit within the carrying case for the battery. That bend eventually caused the original charging cable to break. These right-angle cables solved that problem. They fit in the jumpstart battery's carrying case without the need for a bend. They appear well made, and are the right length for what I needed.
