SikkensSIKCHLSPLO 1L Cetol HLS Plus Translucent Woodstain Light Oak

I used this product about 7 years ago on an oak front door and it has kept it look great all this time. I've not had a problem with it looking too orange at all. I did however use Sikkens Cetol Filter 7 Plus first, with Cetol HLS Plus over the top. I've not done anything to maintain the door in between and it's only now I feel it could do with sanding down and re-doing.I have also used this on all my new interior doors and they also look great. Would recommend doing this outside or a well ventilated area as the fumes are very strong!

Excellent finish for exterior wood. I renovated a garden bench and reclining chair with it. Sanded back pretty well to bare wood with an electric sander, and applied three coats of this. Am delighted with the result.

The product in my opinion is not the usual high standard stain supplied by sikkens the product appeared a slightly different colour and had not got the constituency of previous purchases

Has ruined my new £1000 oak door - it was a lovely oak colour and now it's luminous orange, very disappointed. Having looked up the problem on google, we're not the only unsatisfied customers

I've used Sikkens on my external solid oak door since fitted over ten years now. Very easy to use, fantastic protection and looks great
