Average quality product
I bought two bikes for the kids and went through a lot of reviews: i have however found it difficult to find a 14in bike in Dubai for my boy and this RoyalBaby came with+1,000 reviews and +4 stars in rating so I thought to go with. Now that i ve received it, these are my thoughts:- heavy: the steel frame has a nice finish but is heavy for a 3 to 4 yeqrs kid to learn biking- the wheels are hard to pedal: compared to the Decathlon bike tried in store and whig was very easy to bike, this RoyalBaby is very disappointing- the tires are super low quality and will fail very quickly- assembly is easy to be fare but everything from box to manual comes in Chineese languageOverall, will do for now but i will never buy again.

Quality product!
Back in college, I used to work in a bike shop that sold low-mid price bicycles. I spent a lot of time assembling and repairing them. Lots of times, lower-end bikes had lots of issues: bent parts, untrue wheels, misaligned brakes, etc. I had never heard of the Royal Baby brand before, but after reading other reviews, I decided to get one for my eight year old son. Of course, when it arrived, I gave it my usual thorough walkthrough. Initially, I noticed that the parts seemed to be good quality. Welds were solid and the finish was perfect.Assembly was just like any other bicycle: pedals, handlebars, seat, accessories. All parts lined up perfectly on the first try. No fighting, no twisting and pulling, none of that. It also comes with some cheap tools to help with assembly, so you don't have to worry about finding a pedal wrench, or the right size metric allen. Once together, I started to look at the mechanics. Tires were very true. There was no noticeable wobble to them, which was abnormal for bikes in the $100-150 range. The brakes were adjusted perfectly. They were centered on the rim and had the perfect amount of pull.Overall, it seems like a quality bike for the price and I am pleased with the purchase.

Sturdy but with some design flaws
I purchased two for my twins. Of course, what kid doesn't like a fancy, shiny new bike? They look great and for the most part are nice and sturdy as their first bike upgrade from a balance bike. What I'm not keen on is that BOTH bikes are having ongoing issues with the hand breaks. Seems like a flaw in the design of how they're attached. Just a simple pin holds them on and they both fell off easily. Of course, the tiny pins were nowhere to be found, so we had to get creative to put them back on. The training wheels were super cheap but thankfully they came off after day 2. Also, my boys currently need the seats right at the bottom, and unfortunately because of this, the water bottles won't fit. Bit of a bummer about that too, but they'll grow. Hope these bikes last. Not sure how long the hand brakes will hang on for us. Also feel like they could have used a stronger/thicker coat(s) of paint.

Very very heavy
We bought two of these for our twins’ 4th bday. The bikes look really nice but they are very very heavy. Heavy enough that my kids are having a really hard time pedalling. So much so that they actually don’t want to use the bikes. They get super discouraged and upset and don’t want to try anymore now. It’s been two weeks trying every day. I’m really disappointed. We would lose $120 in shipping costs to return them so I guess we are going to hang on to them and hope one day it gets easier. Overall I really regret this purchase.. especially times two. Two thumbs down.
