Modern Masters ME195-32 Metallic Copper, 32-Ounce

I wanted to upgrade my gutters and downspouts by giving them a rich copper look without the out the budget price tag of real copper. It was a lot of work but with brick red primer, two coats of copper paint and one coat of gloss, clear polyurethane, they have held up now for six years.I love them still.

Not the easiest paint to work with but effects are amazing

I wanted copper ceiling tiles for a bar I am working on, the prices are nuts. I got cheap foam ceiling tiles from the retailer that shall not be mentioned and painted them with this paint, they look just like the real thing.

It took me forever to find the colors I wanted. I used three different colors:Burnt OrangePharaoh's GoldCopper.The extender is a must have if rolling!Rolled the Copper using the Wooly roller- make sure you get the lint off before using it! I painted in W's and didn't worry about covering every spot. Once it dried I sponged the gold and the orange, adding some copper where needed. The pictures posted are of the same spot. I wanted to show the difference in color based on the lighting.Be patient- it is definitely worth it!

This isn't the place to leave reviews about poor shipping but I want to warn those who get the 32 oz sizes. For some unfathomable reason, Amazon shippers put this 32 oz jar in a box 3 times its size with no padding or bubble wrap or plastic to keep it secure so I got a cardboard box full of BEAUTIFUL metallic paint that I couldn't use without making an enormous mess. Luckily shipping is so fast or by the time the box came it would have been all over my floors. It was just almost seeping out of the package.I am leaving 4 stars because the paint was exactly what I wanted. Brilliant shine that, if in the right light, yields a slight reflection. It's not a mirror finish or anything, but it does reflect more than a shadow for sure. I managed to salvage about an oz to do some testing.Amazon replaced the order without an issue, but it was a very big inconvenience having to wait another 2 days. I pay for Prime for a reason, right?THis rating floats between 4 and 5 stars for the quality of the paint itself... I would say the paint is great... I wish it were just a about 20% more reflective. That's what keeps it from being "perfect" for me but it'll certainly do.
