Q: If i swung it around and stabbed cardboard would it be ok?

It definitely wouldn’t break. We used them for on stage combat scenes. Sword to sword they were very tough. We just didn’t spar w the scabbards off until close to the show because we didn’t want to chance dulling the shine. They are quite pointy - I was concerned about this as a teacher, so the awesome maintenance guru at our school rounded the ends for us. They are also heavy - good workout! Great prosuct

Q: Are the blades sharp? Like can I use it in a stage show?

It is not razor sharp, but it is heavy and will cause injury if you make forceful contact. The blade is somewhat like the back side of a knife or butter knife.

Q: Does it make a "shing" sound when you draw it from the scabbard?

no and a sword should not make a shing sound. that is usually a sign that the scabbard is fitted wrong and could be doing damage to the edge when you draw it.

Very nice!

This sword was a 10/10 for me when I got it, perfectly straight blade and no broken pieces at all.The reason why I said was is because I locked myself out of my house for over an hour in negative weather, so I had no choice other than to use my newly obtained sword to bash into the door with the pommel, which broke it in the process. It still is together, but it rattles.So, this product is amazing and is able to bash through doors with ease, but it may break in the process...

Good Prop Sword

One complaint; the way the hand and tang is built, you cannot take it apart to inspect and put it back together easily. Some nut fell and we ended up glue it back in after fishing it out.
