Well i have the Xenyx 1202 and it works perfectly. Basically it has a huge block of foam on the inside and you basically just pull out a section of it big enough to fit your board. I have my Xenyx 1202 and a little box for the power cable fit in mine

Q: Will this case fit a behringer xenyx x2442usb?

Not sure of your dimensions, but my Behringer Xenyx Q 1202USB measures some 9.9 x 9.8 x 2.0 inches. It fits fine with room to spare for the external power pack and cords.

Q: Does it come with the foam already cut out?

No it doesn’t. It’s customizable foam. Square blocks that you can remove to fit whatever you want in the box.

Q: It doesn't seem to accommodate the power supply?

My Q1204USB only has a power cord, not an external power supply, so it works fine. I kind of wish now I had a bigger case to accomodate the ULM wireless mics I bought subsequently.
