Children's Bible in 365 Stories Hardcover – January 5, 1995

It tells the story, and then tells where it is found in the bible. I have given these to people to read a story in this book, and then read the story in the real Bible, and a new person will know what is going on. However I do think the Bible is easy to understand anyway without it, but for someone who knows nothing about the Bible it's very helpful to know the basic stories. When I was 19, I picked up an illustrated children's Bible, and then would look at the reference and read it in the real bible. Now I'm 73, and the Bible is still precious to me after reading it for 50 years. Especially in John 6 where Jesus says he that believes in me has everlasting life.

I got it for my 27yr old daughter. I love the way the stories are written and how simple it is. Love the illustrations too! I would get one for me!😀

These are wonderful stories that bring our history to live little bits at a time

This is not only for children my professor n seminary actually recommended this for the class....and it is a blessing! The stories are told in very profound and simple ways. This would be great for anyone especially people who are just getting familiar with reading the Bible and it feels too complicated or heavy for them. This is a great way to become familiar with the stories.

I recommend this children's bible stories for ALL ages. Please give this type of easy read bible to adults who have difficulty reading and for those who are intimidated by a regular bible. The person will read this bible quietly and alone. It is simple enough to draw the person in to comprehend the words and hope they will be curious to move onto an adult bible.It is best to put a book cover over the children's bible stores so the adult does not feel embarrassed. The goal is to have them start reading at their level of comprehension. The ILLUSTRATIONS are beautiful and you pause to enjoy looking at the details.

For the most part I really like this Bible. It is much more thorough than the last Children's Bible we had and it does a good job of keeping each chapter the same length. It takes each Biblical account and makes it into a story for kids. For most of them I really enjoy this, but there are several that I think go further than they should. We can infer what people were thinking when these events happened, but I think the author infers too much for some of the stories.

Love this Bible, such a descriptive understanding for kids. Wonderful illustrations and a great book to role play the stories.

I started a bible study at home and noticed that my kids (ages 7, 10, and 13) were taking too long to understand and relate the new testament to the old testament stories, so I started my search for a good book to use in my bible study with my little kids.I saw some example pages on Amazon and fall in love with it. My kids are so happy with this book that they do not want to stop reading it. It is so easy explanatory for kids and it shows the bible chapters from where the stories summary were taken, so that the older can read more about it, thus the pictures are great.I liked it so much that I started purchasing this book as a gift to friends and relatives. It is wonderful to spread the knowledge of the bible with a gift like this.Great recommended book.God Bless You...
