So, I am a big fan of the original MEGA Nerf Guns but wanted to try something diff. I admit I like the new style of these these MEGA darts. The only very small gripe is just an aesthetic one. I hope they come out with a version w/o the cartoonish lettering.....but....its the performance that counts for me. Since the darts are larger the wont go as far as the regular Mega darts...but that is understandable. They do hit with a satisfying thud overall so that is a plus for me. The overlarge size is pretty cool as well. Another plus for the oversize darts is that they are VERY hard to lose!

We have fast pro dart guns that leave a welt, we have Nerf guns that require batteries (yuck), we have lots and lots of different types of guns. This blue foam dart is really big - much bigger than the mega reds. The blue, big foam dart whistling through the air puts a smile on my face. There is something very satisfying about launching this dart as it make a noise in flight and good thump as it hits a target. Also, if you are playing outside in the grass... the darts are big enough they don't get lost. This is now the favorite gun to battle my kids with, and I don't mind being hit by it either.

Don't think about it, GET IT! The whole family had fun!

This isn't a sniper, you're not going to be getting extreme distance or accuracy. This is something to shoot foam darts about the size of a small redbull can at whatever you're aiming near.I do have a slight concern, there was a strange rattle coming from inside, it was difficult to cock, eventually a small screw fell out. It's from the internals, all user accessable screws are in place, but it still fires so I guess I'll keep it for now. This is a fun little toy, hope it stays that way.
