Perfect toy for dogs! My dog's favorite toy!
I have a 9 going on 10 month old, 100 lb German Shepherd. Very active and in shape, huge puppy. He would normally DESTROY a tennis ball within a few hours to a day with his constant chewing and playing with the ball. I considered this and decided to buy it. I bought the Medium size because I still wanted him to be able to chew it. The large size is definitely big (I went to petsmart to check out the sizes but purchased here, price is waaay better!). I tested which size he'd like and he played with the Medium size more since he was able to chew it. He can't choke on it since its not too small for him. He's been playing with it for a few months now and its still intact. Less bouncy than when we first got it, still bouncy of course, but he is a huge puppy and chews on it ALOT. It is the only toy he has not gotten tired of! I also gave the same size ball to my boyfriend's new dog (Husky 2 months old) and he loves it chews on it as well and it squeaks the same way as with my GSD. For our dogs, its the perfect option and the Medium is the perfect sizing. Its a little smaller than a traditional tennis ball, but the closest size out of all the other size of the Kong Squeakier Balls.

Great for picky pups!
Pros:- Holds my dog's attention like nothing else. She is not interested in regular tennis balls at all but will fetch for HOURS with these balls.- Squeak is LOUD. Can be heard from pretty far off so they are great for calling my dog back when off leash at a park because they are like puppy crack.- The medium is a standard tennis ball size which is good for my 55lbs lab- Come in a multipack because they can get gross (like any tennis ball) at the parkCons:- They are stolen 100% of the time at the dog park. My dog isn't the fastest and is quite submissive so if there are other dogs at the park they become fixated on the squeakair ball because it squeaks and inevitably they beat her to it. Since my dog isn't interested in other balls, we usually bring two and the other one is stolen. So we buy a lot of them.- They don't handle getting wet well. If they are dropped in a water bowl or the lake/ocean/pool or large puddle they don't squeak anymore or if they do it sounds pretty pathetic. They essentially become wet standard tennis balls which aren't as fun.

Long standing favorite
The dogs just go crazy for these. They tear them up fairly fast but that is on my dogs and not the toys. Toys that cannot be torn to shreds in minutes simply do not exist in my dogs' reality. Also, the balls are still very usable to them even after being skinned. The dogs have become masters at finding the area where the squeaker is, tearing through the tennis ball material down to the smooth ball, and then carefully nibbling out the small plastic squeaker thing with the tips of their teeth. Then they can spit that out at me and demand that I reinsert it into that ball or another one with an empty hole. Obviously, they have to be supervised. If you don't have a bully-type/bull and terrier breed of dog then you will probably never have to worry about this. The green material is pretty tough to get through. I don't waste my time on the so called tough balls anymore, the dogs chomp those in half within a minute. These squeaky ones hold up better than that because of the flexibility. It's these or regular court balls and these are a better value here than in the many stores that carry them.

pretty good balls for a strong jawed dog
ok, I don't even bother giving any creedence to dog toys that say they are indstructable, because I have yet to find anything my dog can't destroy. he's a 19 month old German Shepherd, and he loves to play fetch. These things have a life of about 2 weeks each, as the first step is he squeezes the crap out of them as he fetches them and the squeeker breaks. After about a week, it's pretty chewed up, but still holding shape and throwable. We tried some other brand that claimed it was indstructable, and I kid you not, it had a big split right down the middle of the ball in the very first play session.compared to a tennis ball, these things are better because they squeek, they last longer, and that fuzz that is on tennis balls is probably not good for dogs, and these are made out of something simliar but different. I assume that if they make these for dogs, they assume they're going to be chewed on, and tennis balls can't say that since that's not what they're desinged for.it's a sqeeky tennis ball for dogs, what can i really say!?

Thank you Kong.
My 3 70LB rescued dogs, ( Lab mix, Boxer mix, Hound mix), would only play/chase with hartz dura play non bacon flavored balls. Hartz decided to rip off customers of this product by jacking the prices to well over $6 per ball. They began pushing the bacon flavored balls. (Imagine those at your dog park.) I digress. Kong Air to the rescue. These are a little over $1.40 per ball. Great value. Another quality Kong product. I bought the "medium" size balls. These are about the same size as a regular tennis ball. (Be aware that Kong also makes some balls for smaller dogs. Be sure of your selection. You don't want to buy a choking hazard.) They squeak and are flexible. Good for playing with your dog or retrieving. NOT a chew toy to leave around the house. The cover is felt, similar to a tennis ball. It does come apart a bit when moist. The core is firm but not a hard rubber. This is not the exact same thing a a tennis ball. That's why they're squeezable for dogs. One package of 3 balls lasts my dogs about 5 days of wet sandy beach play. I'm very pleased.

The love of our Labrador's Life :)
Our labrador LOVES any kind of tennis ball, however she REALLY loves these as they squeak too :) She's never managed to chew through them and they've never broken from throwing them (like cheap ones do). The only reason I replace them fairly often is because they just get tatty and filthy with everyday use.Be aware they they will fill up with dog slob after a while of use haha! So when they are squeezed it will squidge out. We just always use a ball thrower anyway so to avoid slobbery hands :)

Good quality squeaky tennis balls
Purchased these balls in medium size (set of 3) as my 3 dogs just love tennis balls! I was expecting the balls to be same size as standard tennis balls but they are actually smaller in size (see my photo's for comparison). My dogs are loving the squeak in the balls though and having a great time playing with them but too early to tell how the balls will fare over time. Will update my review in time. The balls are certainly of a much higher quality compared to the very cheap so-called pet tennis balls for sale that fall apart/break in half as soon as a dog plays with them! I purchased the balls as an "add-on" item.

Very Disappointed
This is the 5th time I have bought this item (Pack of 3 Kong Tennis Balls) and I have always been completely satisfied with them (to the point where I was telling all my friends and family about how great these balls were!) up until the latter two orders of which I have noticed that there has been a significant decline in the quality. In summary, the tennis balls are a lot lighter and therefore it cannot go far when thrown (this affects me as I have had to pick it up and throw it more compared to the original 'good balls'). Secondly, they are less squeaky and the squeak dies down very soon so my dog gets bored of it after a short while. I have given this product a second chance after its first failure but it has failed yet again so I will no longer be purchasing this item anymore. Such a shame.

Not great for JRT's who like to destroy toys
Our jack russell cross loves a squeaky toy and a tennis ball so these seemed perfect for him. Also the KONG brand has some pretty durable products for dogs that destroy their toys! However these did not last long. He destroyed one a day. The squeaker was killed in about 10 minutes and the fluffy covering was pulled off an hour later. At the moment the rubber isn't completely gone but he's lost interest! So not the best for dogs that chew and destroy toys. Shame because he loves these tennis balls! I'll stick to normal tennis balls in future as they are much more durable.

Highly recommend
My little dog Biscuit is a beast when it comes to destroying toys. He has had numerous tennis balls in his 18 months with us and the ONLY ones he does not tear apart in less than a day are these ones. He has had this one for nearly 2 weeks and it still squeaks and is going strong. He had one previously and lost it, he had it for 3 months. Just after I ordered a new pack, we found his old one and it is still squeaky, abet a bit scruffy now. Best ones out there. He is a small dog but, prefers medium size, I think small and x small would be rejected by him as he likes standard size.
