No it won't work. You'll need to have smart lights or a Hue Smart bulb in the light you want to control.

Q: Do I need to install 2 modules for a 2-way 1 gang light switch? So 4 modules for 2 x 2 way 1 gang switches? The instructions are confusing me.

No, one module handles two physical switches. Where there is only a single gang switch you would be wasting one of the module's ports - I replaced any single switches with double ones, so I can allocate the second switch to something else like a table lamp for instance.

Q: Will this work with a UK double light switch socket? I have one switch that controls lights in the kitchen and hallway and need to know if it'll work?

It doesn't control the actual switch, just the hub/light .... as long as the light you want to control is left switched on (i use a cover to prevent switching off) then it'll be fine.

Q: Will this work with a bathroom pull switch?

Yes, if there's room to mount it in the box.
