There are two tiny little plastic clips on the side that hold the flexible piece and they snap, ordered 10 all are broken. Do not waste your time or money!

Because my use of these is a new attempt at keeping my brooms and mops off of the floor, it is too early to tell how long they will last and what the failure mode, (if there is one), may be, but I am very pleased with the result of their use so far. I was amazed at how easy it was to put them to use on the wall of the kitchen where I had the brooms and mops, but they worked beautifully so far and they solved a long standing problem that I have with my (grand)children in placing them so to preserve the efficacy of them. Great Item

Used them on the back of a countertop dishwasher to secure the hose and cord. Put on .. let them set for a day and they work exactly as I had hoped.

I purchase a set of 4 on April 1st . They were great to start with. The broom gripper which use most often last 2months before the tab holding the rubber band broke. so now the broom just falls thru.I now have two broken out of 4 and the ones that are still good ,I hardly use.
