TravelonAnti-Theft Classic Essential Messenger Bag, Black

I have been using Travelon bags for years.They are well made and give you peace of mind with their anti theft features.I have one that I have been using daily for 10 years and it shows very little wear.I purchased this particular purse because it is large enough to carry whatever I need but not too large so that I would fill it with things I don’t need. That was becoming an issue with my other Travelon purse which I will continue to use when I actually travel.Initially the inside front zipper came out of alignment when I was inspecting my new purchase but it was easy enough to get it working again.It has two no zipper pockets inside. One of which easily fits my reading glasses. There is also an inside zippered pocket and a key strap.The front pocket easily fits my iPhone 14 andhas many card pockets which are RFID blocking . I have a small wallet that does that so I use them for little things like toothpicks and mints.The color of this particular purchase was represented as purple but in my opinion it is actually indigo blue. A little disappointing but not a game changer. I am quite happy with my new purse.

Side pocket fits my pistol perfectly. I really appreciate the durability other canvas. The lining is nice material and is light gray so it will be easy to find things :). The clips on the zipper pulls is a nice added extra. Lots of room in the main compartment. I did have to buy a little smaller wallet. Mine was a large billfold type, just a good excuse, it was 10 years old.Very happy with the quality. It lays nice and flat.

Perfect purse for traveling. I love the security features of this purse. It's the perfect size for a small thermos/tumbler, glasses case, wallet, phone, and misc lotion/make up.

Lovely purse for travel with several small pockets and good anti theft feature where the zippers lock. However, it is not big enough for my iPad 10th generation to fit with its case. I also prefer a travel bag with a spot for a water bottle. If I did not require the iPad and the water bottle, I would probably keep this purse. The fabric is sturdy and higher quality than the thin nylon ones. Looks like a very sturdy bag!

I love this bag. It has just enough pockets for organization with room for my tablet. I like that it has zipper pulls that clip to tabs for security and the strap is cut proof. Oh, and the bag lays gently on the hip and does not stick out and look bulky. All in all, a winner!

Went on across Europe tour, was recommended by a friend, love this bag!! Not too big, not too small! Was able to carry all my necessities plus souvenirs. It felt light weight and very secure.We went to pick pocket capitals and never felt like anyone would be able to tamper with it.It’s stylish and now my new go to cross body!

This little bag did a great job keeping passports and credit cards secure. I had a place for my phone, glasses, and a zippered inner pouch for cosmetics and misc. stuff. The bag is very light and comfortable to carry. The bag actually holds quite a bit in the center compartment too. I stuck a water bottle in there several times. My only complaint about the bag is it is tight getting into the center compartment, and very dark if you are looking for something. They do give you a small light, but I found that I just didn't use the center compartment very much. The bag did come in a slightly wider version that would make that less of a problem. If I had it to do over again, I would get the wider version. I ran into a woman with the same make bag on my cruise (slightly different style) and she said she loved it and had used it on several trips. I got it in black and it looked good enough to dress up with when going out more fancy.

I just received my Travelon purse today. I will be using it in an upcoming trip to Europe this summer. The bag is just the right size. It is compact but has room enough for essentials. I am very pleased that the front pocket is large enough, so that my camera fits ( mine is a little larger than regular cameras because it has a great zoom , and therefore, a slightly larger lens). This pocket is locked. I will use the main compartment ( which also has a lock) for storing my credit credit cards and wallet, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, moisturizer and a mini Ipad will fit ( but I will leave mine in the hotel's safe ). I will use another small wallet and put it in the back pocket with small change. This means that, since my camera is in the front and money in the back, I will not be opening the main compartment much. I got the blue color, which I call " travel blue" because it looks like the blue of Samsonite luggage. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and it will bring me peace of mind ( which is priceless...).This is an update. I used this bag during my three week trip to Europe. It was perfect since it held all my stuff and I felt very secure with it. No problems in Italy or even in the Barcelona Metro. Until the last day. Somewhere in between the second floor of the Eiffel Tower and the top, someone was able to open the safety lock. I was wearing it cross body and I did not feel a thing. The good news is that they were not able to open the zipper... I guess they ran out of time. So, a pickpocket almost got to my bag. I think the main safety lock is very exposed and it should be hidden like the one in the front compartment. Please be very careful while traveling and do not think that having an anti theft purse will protect you a 100 %. For the next time, I will add extra protection when using again. But in the end, it met its purpose: I was not robbed.
