Q: Sole has come away some 3-4 inches from the front of my army boot. Is this product designed for these types of repairs?

At such a reasonable price, it has to be worth a try. I have used it to stick back the rubber soles on my old boots when previous attempts with Bostik etc had failed to hold for more than a few days. After several weeks' use the joins are still sound. Follow the instructions carefully!

Q: Does it work for holes in the sole of shoes?

You need the American rubber adhesive, which is made for sealing holes

Q: Would this work well for glueing: 1) two layers of leather on top of each other (sandal strap coming apart), 2) rubber protector to leather sole? Tx

I didn't glue Leather to leather so not sure.I glued Rubber to Leather and it worked very well. The shoes are worn out now but the repair never came apart

Q: Would your product glue the rubber of a shoe's sole to the canvas material of a pair of sneakers?

The specification says that it is suitable, however I have not tried it with those materials.
