Q: How long is the power cord,surely if it electric then there's a good chance of getting electrocuted?

Hi, the cord is 5m long as detailed in the description on Amazon. With regard to the possibility of electrocution, don't worry at all. I'm an electrician by trade and this unit has been specifically designed to operate in water. In fact you must NOT operate it when it is out of water, else you will do damage to it. The instructions are very good and the pump is excellent, emptying 900 liters of water from my pool in around 20 minutes. Hope this helps.

Q: Is it possible to connect up a sprinklet to use the pool water to water the garden rather than just poring it down the drain?

I am almost certain my son connected to the pump to run it down the drain via a hose connector. He is not at home at the moment to confirm.

Q: Does anyone know where i can get a longer hose?

There are adapters in the box allowing you to attach a garden hose BUT, garden hoses are a lot narrower so it just to took forever to drain my 6ft diameter easyset pool. Literally wasn't even half way emptied in 2 hours. The hose provided in the box is fantastic and it'll drain our pool in 15-20 mins. However, for me it's not long enough and I'm on the search for an extension as I've moved my pool further away from the drain.

Q: How many cm is left in the bottom?

It will start sucking air (which you don’t want) with about 1cm-2cm of water left.
