Q: If mixed into resin is it translucent or opaque?

I mix it into a wax product (this color and other Pearl Ex) and I find them to be translucent - providing a wonderful shimmer.

Q: can this be sprinkled in acrylics for a pour painting?

It's ground pretty fine, and blends into the paint very well, so I don't see why you couldn't do a pour painting with it.

Q: Can these be applied to wood surfaces or metal and dry permanent? or will they just rub off?

Consider this pigment like makeup if used dry. It would rub off to a degree if the wood surface is subject to wear like a hardwood floor. I would recommend adding the powdered pigment to a clear paint suitable to the wear expected.
