For the health of my prostate, I have been taking a set of supplements, which included boron in its formula. However, there was only 3mg of boron per capsule. I did not feel any benefits with this formula. I made some research online and I discovered that we can take up to 20mg of boron per day. Therefore, in addition to the formula containing 3mg of boron (one capsule taken with lunch and one with supper), I took 5mg of boron powder in the morning coming from this Boron Citrate Powder. I immediately felt the difference. At first, when I opened the package, some boron powder dust flew in the air and came to my nostrils: I felt some "slight burning" in my nose, and like an "energy" in my brain. When I drank the 5mg of boron, it also affected positively my brain. I also read online that is to good "to cycle" boron: that is to say to regularly take it for two weeks and then, have one week of not taking it. This is a wise advice: after 2 weeks of taking this Boron Citrate Powder (11mg per day), I felt that I needed to stop for a short while (to much excitement!).

Please be careful listening to other people figuring out the dosing of these things. Products have different weights, and so you need to measure out the weight of a product on a milligram scale to see how much to take. We got a whole bunch of different micro-spoons, and the 1/32 of a tsp / 0.15ml spoon was the one that held the exact amount for 100mg of this powder, the suggested single daily dose listed on the package.It's weird that they don't have it come with a tiny scoop, or list that scoop size on the package to make it easier for people, so I'm deducting a review star because of that. 1/32 tsp / 0.15ml is a standard size you can find all over here on Amazon to order, it's not some weird size they'd need specially made.I suggest getting your own milligram scale and not trusting anybody else to figure it out, including this review, but we tried a whole lot of different micro-spoons with a milligram scale, and the 1/32 tsp / 0.15ml (straight full, evened off, not heaping) came out to exactly 100mg of this powder, the suggested daily dose amount of this powder which comes out to 5mg of boron, as listed on the package.

Fairly recently found that a deficiency in this can prevent collagen supplement from working properly. Requires a very miniscule amount - I used 1/32 teaspoon which is something which can also be purchased for the proper measurement.

I am finding buying in bulk as much cheaper than capsules or tablets. I mix this and with my magnesium and calcium powder drink I make to give it better flavor.

November 10, 2024 - I cannot attest to the quality of this product because I cannot measure 100mg of it in order to use it. I have a food scale and have tried several times to get 100 mg/0.1 grams. This would be more usable if they would put a 100mg scoop inside so that customers can get the right dosage. I would suggest anyone looking for Boron Citrate to buy capsules to make sure that the right dosage is taken.

Another product that should come with a measuring scoop. This should also come with a warning to dilute in water or juice. I stuck a small amount into my mouth and my tongue became numb and lost partial taste. It's been about 13 hours since then and my tongue is still numb with taste loss. Other than that this seems to be a decent product for the price.
