Delivers rated power at under 0.1% distortion, plus the distortion figure drops considerably at lower volumes.The volume control has detent points that make fine adjustment for measurements a bit difficult, but this is nitpicking and not really a factor in real world use.This amplifier has two input channels but outputs a single powered channel.A very useful little amp.

Needed an amp for my diy subwoofer (12" Dayton) in my workshop. I had been using the subwoofer with a Denon receiver which has bass management, but when I moved it to my workshop I needed an amp with a low pass filter. This one looked good, and similar products by Aiyima had been reviewed favorably by Audio Science Review. I used REW to adjust amplifier low-pass filter and gain to integrate it with my main speakers, and it worked great. I used a smart power strip so it turns on automatically with my main speaker amp. Very happy with purchase.

Great sound quality but under powered

This is an excellent sub amp. Nice adjustment.Low punchy base but not overwhelming. Rebuilt sub made a huge difference from stock amp

I had a plate amp Die on my HSU VTF Subwoofer.. Anyone who knows hometheatre HSU is no joke in the Hoem Sub Dept. The plate was 300 watt BASH i beleive... was quited near 300 to Fix so I tried this A3001 out and was super impressed..But kept reading online how the FOSI is better, So I ended up changing out to the FOSI which now living with it for about 6 months... The A3001 was Far better and had the Sub Freq adjust.. I adjust my Sub out with My Receiver X over which is 80hz, but I think you can go lower with the Mini Amp

i picked this up for mostly one alpine subwoofer because the small little Pyle amp is only 80 watts so thats 40 watts each side left and right so i said lets take a look on amazon for a small subwoofer amp for home audio use not the car amps and Wala i found quite a few it was hard for me to pick but i made a great choice with this one i just got it to day and i had to rewire and make some new connections and run some fresh 16 gage speaker wire i use maxbrite prue copper wire you can also fine on amazon as well so i got everything hooked up right and turnd on everything and i was like wooooooooo yeahhhhh baby i turnd it up a quarter of the way and it was pumping that big 10 inch subwoofer pritty good already a lot more then just the small stereo amp was but Of Course this amps has more power for more powerfull speakers and subwoofers so it worked out great for me i have it right on top of the smalll Pyle amp its a little smaller then the pyle amp is it woked for me and it just mite work out for you so i highly reamend this amp it is mono not stereo i belive i used two phono cords with male ands on both sides and one to wight left and one for red right and into my tape out on the small amp Couse that was the only line out i could run to the sub amp i just have to turn up the sub amp more if i raise the music quite more not a big deal it works that what matters sounds gggggggreattttttt

It turns off at 3/4 volume , it doesn’t put out enough power .
