Q: Will it fit the subcompact vp9sk?

Yes it does, but it is not a tight fit. I have a slight forward/ backward wobble, due to the shorter barrel. In a pinch I would use it, but not for serious work.

Q: This is too misleading, does anybody know if this is definitely a right-handed or left-handed holster?

Right handed but be careful mine did not come with gel he hardware

Q: will a 43 glock fit in this holster?

Only if it is designed to fit the Glock 43. The pictured holster lists the H & K VP9 which is a full size 9mm pistol. The Glock 43 is much smaller.

Q: Would this fit the vp 40 duty? i need it for on duty carry

I know it fits my vp9 perfectly. Tension is slightly adjustable using the set screw located under the index release. I am not sure how much the vp40 specs are different from the vp9 if at all. Best to get a frame spec comparison of vp9 vs. vp40.
