Einaudi: The Easiest Original Pieces

Many beautiful pieces in this book and relatively easy to play (around Grade 5 standard).

Nice, easy but slightly repetitive pieces. Bought as a present so don't know how the recipient finds it yet.

I'm about Grade 5 or 6 and found that I could pretty much sight-read through all of the pieces I've looked at so far. There is a delightful simplicity to Einaudi's works. Some of the pieces (e.g. Dark bank of clouds) represent his more minamilist works, usually intended for TV Show/Film back ground music etc., but these are still fun to play, and if you have an electric keyboard its fun to play around with delay and reverb effects etc.Main criticisms of the edition is that the binding makes page turning tricky, and the print is so large that you need to turn pages A LOT, I think they should have shrunk the print down, got a few more lines per page and reduced overall number of pages by about 25%.
