Reasonable price, good taste
As the saying goes you either love or hate it. We just happen to love it.

Acquired taste- great for umami-loving people.
I rediscovered the joys of Marmite recently- and got it to satisfy my taste for anything umami/salty for very few calories/WW points. Great for those watching their weight despite the sodium content. Less is more.Great to use on rice cakes, or to add to soups/broth or things like scrambled eggs or tofu (I'm vegetarian) as long as you like salty things. This is the sort of thing you either love or hate. I guess it's obvious which camp I'm in. You only need a THIN layer.I can't find this in my local stores which is why I buy it on Amazon, even though it is not as affordable as I would like.

Texan using an iconic Aussie food product?
So far I have used this in several sauces and stews to provide a beefier flavor and a little funk to enhance the experience. I don't use very much at all, actually it seems I use half as much than I normally would for beef bullion, in addition to, and it comes out perfect.Only downside is the lid. I have to almost pry the plastic lid off the jar every time with a butter knife under the rim. I have since added some parchment paper to reduce whatever is making it catch the jar.

Great for an ex-pat
Sometimes you just crave a taste of home, and marmite on toast with lashings of butter is definitely my go-to snack when I’m feeling a little homesick. Arrived quickly and very tasty.

Marmite is an acquired taste
I have been eating marmite for 75 years. It has a salty funky taste. Most Americans hate it. It is useful for adding an umami flavor accent to sauces and gravies. I eat it on bread with cheese or eggs.

Was so excited to try, But.....watch out for SALT. Way to much salt. WHY????
My son watched a YouTube video, saying it tasted like buttered toast. We put on bread with lots of sweet butter but it is so SALTY.I am so sad that it tastes like a salt lick. I thought it would be good. Used such a tiny amount because instructed to, but all this salt cannot be good for anyone. Tasted saltier than soy sauce. I hope they have a low-salt substitute. If they did I would buy.I also tried to put raisins on it to make sweeter or something, but the salt was overwhelming. That is all I taste. Maybe apple slices next time on buttered toast with microdot of this, since I am stuck with them and cannot return.

I love Marmite.
You love it or hate it, no middle ground. Fast delivery and packaged much better than in the past. Good price as well.

If you love it you love it.
You either love it or hate it. I love the stuff and if I get a sugar craving marmite somehow eliminates it. I like it on fresh homemade bread, toasted, the best.
