Has a bad smell
I use this for tigernut milk. I took a handful to chew and it had this bad smell of fuel. This is my 2nd buy and the first package I bought had no smell. The packaging needs to be properly cleaned.

Tasted and smelled like gasoline!
I love to eat tiger nuts. I grew up eating them. I just tried this brand for the first time. Upon my third bite, I had to spit them out because they SMELLED like gasoline. Pure and simple. The craziest thing. I didn’t want to try another bite because it was disgusting. Unfortunately I can’t return the bag, but I tossed it. Will not buy this brand again. I do not recommend.

Good flavor and texture once they are soaked
I’ve been eating tiger nuts for years. For best enjoyment, tiger nuts require soaking for 12 hours. I rinse them, place them in a container to have an even surface, and cover with enough fresh water to cover by at least 1/2 inch. Cover them with an air tight lid and leave at room temperature. After 12 hours, drain off soak water and place all of the tiger nuts on several layers of clean paper towels. Blot dry and place in a large enough container forming a single even layer, careful not to over crowd them. Store uncovered in fridge for up to 10 days. Good substitute for salad croutons, eat as a snack, crunchy topping for yogurt and smoothies.

Delicious
This is absolutely delicious and reminds me of my childhood. Lots of fiber. You can eat it dry but it will cause a bit of mouth discomfort. I would recommend soaking them overnight a bit.

Tiger nuts get hard
The tiger nuts tasted okay when I first opened the bag but I knew I wouldn’t buy them again. They do seem to dry out and get very heard. I was afraid to put them in a nut mix because I could chip a tooth biting down on them.

Not For Me
I did like the taste and the initial crunch of the nuts, but not the woody texture formed once you begin to chew.
