The interference fit between the switch housing and the pipe nipple is loose. The vendor recommends wrapping with twin tape to make it fit. I found that the housing has a decent fit on my old nipple, so I just used that oneUnlike some of these switches, this one does not have a level adjustment. However, the level seems ok for my needs and the switch does work.

I bought this but ended up not installing it. Our system appears different and I am not sure which wires to connect. I decided to wait until someone else was here who could tell me which wires should be connected. The price was good, but the instructions weren’t clear enough for me.

11 months after install another carpet flood and ruined due to the switch not working! Guess cheap was not a smart solution!!
