Absolutely beautiful! Works as described

good gift

I love this cup so much. But after owning it for a while now, I've discovered a hole in the bottom of the cup that appears to be an intentional design. Now water goes in to that hole, between the hidden walls of the cup, while it is in the dishwasher. Shaking all the water out from that hole is not fun. Wow water has probably been in the cup's hidden walls since I first used it. What would this be for?
