Works as expected right out of the box and easy to use

As an amateur astronomer I found it to be very sensitive to the slightest fluctuations in moisture. Very accurate. Well made and sturdy, the backlight could be a little brighter. But it is not enough to minus a star in my estimation.

Provides approx measures with a margin-of-error. The only way to calibrate is to compare readings to another device that can be calibrated with ice or other means - the difference (if any) can then be added or subtracted. Requires several minutes to stabilize. Suggest taking the batteries out of the device when storing becasue of the tin-plates. Display is large. Easy to use. Lettering on buttons is small - buttons are small. Concern that lettering will erode with use.

Recieved device and it works as promised.

I got this to help me calculate the heat stress I was under in my non air conditioned room. Then the weather changed to winter.The temperature it reports is always within 1°F of that reported by other digital thermometers I have.I have no reference to compare it to for RH.But still it is better than relying on a weather report's outdoor RH reading coming from who knows where.There is no way to turn it on without also turning on the light which is wasteful of battery power.The here is no provision for using it with external power.The battery trapdoor is secured by a tiny Philips screw which, unfortunately, is not captive so is likely to be lost if you are trying to change batteries standing around outside in cold weather. A screwdriver is provided which I always find poking through the fabric storage bag.There is a 1/4-20 threaded insert on the back to probably intended for mounting the device on a tripod for long timeframe measurements but I would have preferred a belt clip holster.⭐⭐⭐ is my base rating for a product that is fully functional and fulfills its promises

I use the ambient temperature setting most of all. The device works perfectly fine. It reads the ambient temperature and pretty accurate compared to what a room thermostat reads. It may be off, +/- by a couple of tenths as most. If the temperature in the space differs a few degrees drastically compared to the precious space, it will take the device a minute or so to calibrate to the current space, so it means waiting a bit, but it will get there.
