I know it says 18 months + but my 8 month old really enjoys playing with it.We did have a plastic ring stacker- but she would get frustrated that it would topple over when trying to play with it. This is great as it’s wooden, and heavy so it stays stable.It is a really high quality product, the wood and paint do not feel cheap. Great for little ones fine motor skills, you could also practice naming colours with it.I would say it does need some supervision as it’s quite heavy (for the littler ones).

Great little puzzle. Given as a present and the young child reached for it immediately. Lovely colourful interchangeable animals.Needs constant adult supervision at all times though.

This is good and well worth the money. My daughter loves it. The only suggestion would be to have the holder to park the sticks when not used.
