Q: I need to just change out my little e-string. I have a full size, will these work? I've never bought strings online before...

If you just want to change 1 string then this might be a bit too much product than you need. Usually when one string breaks then it is best to change all 6. If it is an electric guitar then these should work fine for you. If you just need one string then search for something like a ".010 single electric guitar string" and you may find exactly what you want. Best wishes.

Like pedals, guitars, and amps, this question is subjective and depends on the gear you're using. Are you using these on a Fender guitar (or any single coil guitar)? If so, the guitar itself is going to have a twang sound to it. These strings are made of steel with nickel coverings. That means higher output from your pickups (because they're magnets and they like steel better than nickel) so that could account for the twang you're hearing.But like I said, what sounds like more twang to you could sound different depending on someone else's setup. It's always hard to say for sure. Your mileage may vary.

Q: Why are these listed as "fender ukulele strings-soprano" when the pictures of the packages and the description says they're "electric guitar strings"?

I've purchased 3 sets of these strings. They are not ukulele strings. Most ukulele strings I've seen, at least recently, were nylon.

Plain.... it would specify on the box if it was wound
