If I could lessen the star I would. Not worth it at all. No matter how much you tighten it it’ll come loose and flap during the WHOLE drive. It rained during the drive and when we arrived to our destination, all our luggage was soaked. It in fact is NOT weather proof.

The rooftop carrier is exactly what we were looking for! We got this luggage carrier to save more space inside the car and it works great. It sits on a non-stick mat and easily straps to the luggage rack on our car. The material is weatherproof and also comes with a lock for security. Well we drove about 960 miles with it on a rain and windy on day 1. Weather was better on day 2 but it still rained. It cracked in a few places and everything was wet when we reached our destination. In the garbage it went. There’s my assessment.
