Q: Does the clear pkging bother anyone else? Light rapidly ruins tea.

I have a dark glass container for my tea. It does bother me but if it means continuing to get the tea at this price I don't mind doing a container swap.

I have used other brands of Assam Banaspaty loose leaf tea & this is comparable in taste & texture. We like it and when I tested it against another brand there really was no difference in flavor. It comes in a plastic sealed bag with a company label. I transfer it to a glass jar after opening it. The expiration date was a year from purchase date. You ask what a person can tell what is actually in??? How do we really know what is actually in any thing we buy. The company has a web site. It seems legit. . The tea is good and comparable with more expensive brands if Organic tea. I for one am happy I tried it because I use a lot of black tea to drink and make Kombucha with and it saves me money in the long run. I hope this helps you.

I like the earl grey creme flavor, but it is not as good or flavorful as regular earl grey. The creme mellows the bergamot, making the flavor milder. This tea is smooth with no bitterness. If you want a change from earl grey, then you may want to try this. I prefer straight earl grey for daily tea.
