Q: Is this wig heat safe?

It is heat safe, but the temperature should not over 100℃

Q: Does this fit a child head?

It can, the wig has a strap in the back with some hooks to make it fit the head. It might look a little weird if it’s a child’s head since it is smaller but it can be done

Q: Did you guys (purchasers/wearers) style the wig after it arrived? mine does not look like any of the photos and is pretty poofy/frizzy.

I bought the wig specifically for my mother-in-law's costume - a black & white clown outfit. I pulled the wig into two loose pigtails and tied with black & white scrunchies. She decided when she got the wig that she'd take it to her hairstylist and have it done a little better, but keeping the pigtails. You have to be careful parting anywhere on it that the mesh cap doesn't show through...it's pretty much what you see is what you get. But the wig did pretty much look like the picture when it came, so not sure what's going on with yours. One note: my MIL, who is a small person, said the wig was a little small for her, and the stylist helped fit it better so she could get all her hair under it. I thought it was a pretty good costume wig for the money...though, certainly, not an everyday serious wig.

You can curl certain wig hair. It's not known what kind of hair was used to make this one, so the only way you'd know for sure would be to try it.
