Mammut Dyneema 8.0 Sling (S2014 Closeout)

Freakishly thin, but ideal for every usual sling use, but also for threading those tiny keyholes in rock. I think you could v-anchor with this in ice too. I'll try to remember to try that and see how it works. Glad I bought 2.

Nobody else should buy these, so I can have them all. Perfect sling for pick-off rescues and temporary anchors. I could not believe it is rated for 22kN!

Solid, light, easy to untie.... my favorite sling for anchors.

240cm sling is very useful for trad anchor.

Perfect length and thickness for building multipitch anchors when two people need to tie in at the same time.

Buy these, best slings out there.

I like these Mammut slings in the longer lengths because they tend not to get caught on stuff, but the bar tacked section is too dang long on the 30cm version. It's constantly getting in the way while trying to girth hitch it to harnesses and fifis and such.

Although I like the sling when I received it (2023) it was already half way through the recommended shelf life being made in 2017.
