Q: what size for 6 yr old wearing size 2 shoe?

My kids are 8 and 11 y.o they wear a size 4/5 in kids shoe, the small fits perfectly both of them.

Q: Are these for kids as well - small maybe? I'm looking to buy fins for 7 year old.

The sizing chart on the webpage states that smallest size, S, is for US mens 5-6 shoe size and US womens 6.5-7.5.. If your kid is in this size range or larger then the fins should fit fine. I fut a mens 10 shoe US and the XL fits fine.

Q: I have tenderness in the ankles due to old injuries, have these fins strained anyone's ankles? Please and thank you for an honest response :)

I have felt no ankle strain or skin irritation but, then again, I don't have ankle tenderness. I guess it would be different for every individual. That said, these are the most comfortable swim fins I have ever worn and I wear them for about an hour, 3 to 5 times per week for the last 6 months or so. Never a blister or any discomfort. They are also pretty and have held up perfectly with no wear noted. I will never buy another type again. (I am not compensated for reviews.)

I wear a men's 9.5 typically and I got the large. They fit snugly enough that they don't slide off, but they were a bit tight the first few times. I also have fairly wide feet. (I wear a EE in running shoes.)
